My Experience as an Orthopedic Occupational Therapist<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I have practiced as an Orthopedic (having to do with bones, muscles and anything related to them) Occupational Therapist (OT) for over two decades, specializing in injuries in the upper extremity (meaning from the hands to the shoulders). I have treated in both the hospital setting and the clinic setting treating significant traumas (burns, post car accidents, amputations, infections and post surgery) to injuries due to overuse (DeQuervain’s, carpal tunnel syndrome, lateral epicondylitits).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

My company came from my want to help and support those with hand, wrist, arm and shoulder injuries recover. Our mission is to make recovery easier by providing services and products that are easy to use, effective and that guide individuals on what they should be doing. We believe that in doing so we encourage and empower individuals to live the life they want!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

-Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from New York University<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Certified Hand Therapist<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from University California, Irvine<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I am also a Mom to two wonderful kids and wife to a man that I feel so lucky to have met!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We four live in sunny Southern California (something else I am so grateful for) where I grew up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m a traveler, a foodie, an explorer, a former runner\/tennis player\/dancer, and a Woman who has lived overseas (Denmark) and on the East Coast (Manhattan).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
